AI Disclosure
Effective date: June 1, 2026
NeuroMirror uses AI to help you reflect and learn. AI features are educational and supportive — never a substitute for a licensed professional, and never diagnostic.
Where AI is used
AI may power the AI Guide / coaches and may help generate reflective content. Assessment scoring itself is rule-based, not AI — your results come from a transparent scoring engine, not a black box.
AI can be wrong
AI-generated responses can be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. Always use your own judgment and consult a qualified professional for medical, mental-health, legal, or financial decisions.
What the AI will not do
The AI Guide will not diagnose you, will not provide treatment plans, and will not validate or amplify harmful, paranoid, or delusional beliefs. If your messages suggest distress or crisis, it will gently encourage professional support and share crisis resources.
Your privacy with AI
Your conversations are yours. AI interactions for child profiles require guardian approval, and child data is never used for analytics or AI training. We do not sell your data.
Human oversight
AI-suggested content and fixes are reviewed before they affect the app. No automatic changes are made to your data or to the product without review.
